GARDEN CITY – A German, aged about 25 years, John Regier by name, threw himself in front of the east-bound Santa Fe passenger train and was ground to pieces. He was a stranger here, coming from Pueblo about a week ago. He had but $6 on his person when killed. His actions for the past few days showed that he was insane.
