DIGHTON – Edward Bradshaw,former principal of the Dighton Schools, was married Monday at 1:30 p.m. to Ethel L. McLeland at the home of the bride’s parents at Chanute. Both Mr. and Mrs. Bradshaw are well and favorable known K.S. N. students. Mr. Bradshaw graduation in the class of ’15 and his wife in the class of ’14. During his career at the Normal, Ed was one of the most popular men in the student body. Last year he was one of the leading singers in the glee club. He was chosen a member of the glee club quartette which is one of the greatest honors a man may attain in college. In addition to his work as a singer he was a Y.M.C.A. worker and all-round activities. Mr. Bradshaw has been re-elected as Manuel training teacher at Altoona for the coming year at an increase in salary of $225.The young couple will make their home at Emporia, Kansas.
