James Mansfield Dies

James Mansfield, a pioneer of this community died at his home in West Wamego Friday, April 9, 1915. Funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon in charge of Rev. Phillips, and services at the grave in charge of the Masonic Lodge. James Mansfield was born in Columbiana, Co, Ohio, October 31, 1842, and died in Wamego, Kans., Aril 9, 1915, being at the time of his death 73 years, 5 months, and 8 days old. He came to Kansas in the year 1869 and purchased land in Union Twp, this county.
