The Iowa editors are coming to see us. We suppose they are coming after their citizens

Ever since we have been in Kansas that crowded but lonesome-looking prairie schooner has been arriving, and the driver of its horses or oxen answers: ‘We’re from Eye-o-way – northern part. Cold up there; couldn’t raise fruit. Stock froze up last winter was a year ago.”

Now the editors are coming after them. It will do no good as far as the settlers are concerned, but it may lead to an entire desertion and stampede of the Iowan editorial corps.
