FI Finney County, Kansas, was established in 1883. It was created out of Arapahoe, Grant, Kearney, & Sequoyah counties, and named for David Finney, who was the 10th Lieutenant Governor of Kansas. The county seat of Finney County is Garden City, Kansas.
